Michelle Suzanne Dockery conceived 15 December 1981 is an English TV and film entertainer. She is most popular for her driving exhibition as Lady Mary Crawley in the ITV TV period show series Downton Abbey (2010-2015), for which she was designated for a Golden Globe Award and three sequential Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Dockery made her expert stage debut in His Dark Materials in 2004. For her job as Eliza Doolittle in the 2007 London recovery of Pygmalion, she was named for the Evening Standard Award. For her job in the 2009 play Burnt by the Sun, she acquired an Olivier Award selection for Best Supporting Actress.
