Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy conceived 16 April 1996 is an entertainer who has won a few honors, including a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, notwithstanding a designation for a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2021, she was highlighted on Time magazine’s 100 Next rundown of “arising pioneers who are forming what’s to come”.
Brought into the world in Miami and brought up in Buenos Aires and London, Taylor-Joy passed on school at 16 years old to seek after an acting vocation. After little TV jobs, she made her film debut with a main job in the blood and gore movie The Witch (2015). She proceeded to star in the blood and gore movie Split (2016) and its continuation, Glass (2019), and the dark parody Thoroughbreds (2017). She won the Trophée Chopard at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
Taylor-Joy has since showed up in the fifth and 6th series of the TV series Peaky Blinders (2019-2022), and played Emma Woodhouse in the period dramatization Emma (2020), which acquired her a Golden Globe selection. That very year, she got basic recognition for her presentation featuring as Beth Harmon in the Netflix miniseries The Queen’s Gambit (2020), winning a few honors, including a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award.
